What we see here is the sacred music chapter of war,death and darkness, which extols the historically mighty greatness of their common mother - Europe.It is released by Polish weblabel Kaos Ex Machina, including various artists of ambient,industrial,martial and folk music.Personally, Polish label used to impress me as too many bombastic output ,which the genre are always lingering around the range of harsh/electronical noise and some noisy industrial creation.
But at this time , this ragularity has been broken by a small degree. Unexpectedly a few of folk songs are glaring in front of your eyes, and slight quality of modesty and quaintness are emerging frequently.Here we are excited to meet several familiar names on track list such as Dead Man's Hill/ Cold Fusion/Horologium..however others are still unacquaintance with us.

4月27日 Requiem for K-141 KYPCK I can only say that's a fantastic idea to seek the inspiration through historical prominent events.This is another military operation in same vein with Cold Fusion"ORP Orzel" of Poland's War Office Propaganda,doubtlessly every time its new martial release always fuel me again and again.
Rukkanor, not being a green hand, plays an important role within WOP.However as far as most of fans concern, it appears to be a little relatively strange and also its reputation doesn't rise up until the debut remarkable album that is entitled Requiem for K-141 KYPCK released in Aug 2004 ,as the name suggest,it tells a tragic story about the Russian nuclear submarine,KURSK,whose catastrophe happend in Aug 12th 2000.In another hand,Rukkanor intends to dedicate the whole album to the casualty, 118 crewmen and sailors who died on abroad so as to commemorate all of victims in special way.We can simply recognize wreck of ship from cover picture.As the creative motivation,with handwritten serial number,the quantity of this album is limited barely to 118 copies strictly coinciding with the number of dead,and specifically each one has its bonus for the extra victim's name list.

By the end of 2006,Europe music label,Auerbach Tonträger,have released this V.A album, the whole tracks of which are all belong to neo-folk style except the last one - Ocean Blue,which picking out from the Gothic band - Hekate. I 'm quite confused what's the reason about it,maybe a bit variation in its music genre. So I think it's no demand on my nonsense for the rest of songs,which are totally conjured by such Big Name Bands whose fame across the entire neo-folk scene.
For nearly one hour,I have been intently listening to this supernatural sound and going through an unearthly adventure - And in this album,I have drunk the fragrant wine,the beauties as ethereal as clouds, created by the magic of poetic lyric,have visited me at night , and have whispered in my ears wonderful tales that have set my brain in a whirl. For this reason, some guys would show their contempt to the label's commercial acts and considering it must be trick of money-suckers,which is causesd by Drudkh's degeneration. So I just wanna say,when we were debating whether Drudkh have been perishable, another essential view might be overlooked by our carelessness, as long as we do any analyse on the music style,nothing would be more lamentable than desiring to argue but not focusing on music itself,and whatever if one can easily make a judgment only by once tentativeness,no doubt the man might go blind at all! Actaully,in my opinion, nothing can substitute "Kveldssanger"of Ulvers for my prime top of folk stuff ,but I was caught away rapidly by such gentle acoustic guitar and flute sound ,more or less in some different ways it reminds me that the Ukrainian home-root never move off from Drudkh utterly,no matter you believe or not.That's real ascertainable what tangible pagan affection is,which is most likely to be a bout of arid cutting wind is racing about the sandy ground,howling and giving trees no rest.
